Visual Basic Project - Pharmaceuticals
Re-write of an MS Access 2.0 database using Visual Basic 4.0a Enterprise edition on MS SQL Server 6.5. Part of a data warehousing initiative, the system incorporates RAS dial up functionality and is used in local/lan/wan configurations world-wide. The system was developed jointly by 2 TRS Technology consultants and 2 senior client consultants.

Visual Basic Project - Telecomms
Developed a production software package for a leading UK Voice Mail company. Written using Visual Basic 4.0a Enterprise edition 16-bit and JET 2.5, the system is designed to dial into several different voice mail systems, download data into a JET database and create a report in MS Word 6.0 or later using OLE automation. The product was sold in the UK and US markets and will run on Windows 3.1, 3.11, NT and 95.

Visual Basic / MS Office Project - Recruitment
Development of a Time-log System using Visual Basic 6.0, Crystal Reports 6.0 Professional and Excel 95/97. The system extracted data from a Sage Sovereign accounting system using ODBC and Crystal Reports. The data was fed into a JET 3.5 database and consolidated before extracting to files in Excel format. The extracted files were then formatted using Activex Automation between the VB 6.0 front-end and Excel 95/97 for data input. The completed time-logs were imported into the corporate accounting system for payroll and billing purposes.

Project Management - Implementation of SAP R/3 4.6B
Successfully project managed the implementation of SAP R/3 4.6 in the UK. Carried out the planning and migration of data from legacy systems to the SAP R/3 4.6 system at go-live.

Project managed and co-developed interfaces between SAP R/3 4.6 and existing legacy systems using Visual Basic 6.0, Crystal Reports, Microsoft Access 2000, SQL Server 7.0.
