I have to say I really do love it here. I feel so lucky to live in a warm, sunny place, which is just about tropical in the summer and really quite beautiful. I just cannot live anywhere else now. Who wants to live in a cold place? Well, if you ski or hike I'm sure you love the cold mountain air, but I'm hooked on warm sunshine now! After nearly 40 years of living in England, which is cold and wet, who wouldn't be?

Well, that's enough talk about the weather!

I used to be an auto technician. I was a fully indentured apprentice, which means I was paid peanuts for 4 years while I went to college one day a week and the rest of the time earned a lot of money for the garage owners and other mechanics. I got out of that game when I was about 28 as I was fed up with getting filthy and working with oiks!

I went back to school and did a HNC, which is the equivalent of an associates degree, in Software Engineering. I really did well and got a job at the end of the course. I've been a programmer ever since.

However, I realised a few years ago that I needed to learn about sales and marketing if I wanted to make progress in business. I'd fallen into the eMyth, but at least I realized and started to work on getting leverage in business.
